{Zeke's First Cast}

Wow I still can't believe our little Zeker Man has his first broken bone! :( Poor thing! He sure is a toughy though!! He got his cast yesterday and doesn't seem too bothered by it. Here are the pics of his cast he is sporting..

{BB Guns} with Papa Blaine

Papa Blaine came home with a new bb gun for the kids to learn to shoot cans with:) Boy did they love it! If only it was easier to line up a shot....haha

{San Francisco} Vacation with Mom & Gram

You would think that waiting at the Air Port would be a bummer (so would I), but not anymore. With the right company and a deck of cards you can have a heck of alot of fun! Good thing my mom and gram are such good sports. We were suppose to fly out at 5:30pm, so of course we arrived there by 4ish, and we didn't board our plane until 8:30pm. haha good times:) By the way, our plane was tiny...I was surprised my mom did so well. Go mom!

We arrived in San Fran around 10pm hoped on our shuttle to our hotel, thinking we would be there sooner then later....boy were we wrong. Our luck had not turned around quite yet...I think we looped around the SF Airport about 50 times to pick other people up that were heading down town, while our driver (who we could barely understand) talked on her radio non stop! We finally hit the open road and thought too soon that we were headed were we needed to but no...first we had to pick up a bag that someone else staying at our hotel left behind in another shuttle..GEEZ!! haha All we could do was laugh.

We did meet some fun people that were riding along with us...a girl that has lived in SF her whole life and she gave us some fun pointers...a guy who was doing the Escape from Alcatraz Challenge...a lady who her husband was also in for the Escape...and two other men that weren't very talkative...haha:)

And of course as soon as we got into our room we crashed!

Woke up early and started off! We walked from Union Square to the Ferry Building. The Market their was so much fun with yummo fresh food!

From the Ferry Building we headed over to Pier 39 where we strolled around waiting for our Bay Cruise to take us aboard. With all the walking and of course me {idiot} the one who didn't wear super good shoes...they were cute though..haha ended up buying some slipper flip flops from the San Francisco Sock Market...haha boy did my feet feel better!

Here we are off on the Bay Cruise going under the Golden Gate and around Alcatraz. We chose not to go onto Alcatraz because of the difficult time we thought Gram may have. I think this was the next best thing though! :)

From Pier 39 we grabbed a cab back to Union Square and had a scrumptious lunch at Boudin's!

Then we checked out some of the shopping right around the corner from our hotel! Perfect location Lisa thanks for the suggestion! :) We laughed because Nordstrom always has the nicest cleanest bathrooms around! haha :)

Finally the reason and highlight of the trip. WICKED!!! Absolutely a breathtaking production! The entire thing was fasinating & fabulous! :) If you haven't seen it....YOU SHOULD!

The next morning we headed over to the Grace Cathedral. What stunning architecture and the stories to the stained glass windows were amazing! Thoroughly enjoyed our visit:)

My camera decided to DIE on me while we were in the Cathedral so I have no more pictures of this day :( until later in the evening when I was able to charge her up...boo

After the Cathedral we caught a taxi that took us on a dangerous scary ride out to Lincoln Park to the Legion of Honor. There happened to be a cycling event going on so the driver couldn't take us up to the building. We had to push Gram in her wheel chair up this hill to get to the Museum!! Wow I think mom & I got our exercise in for the week! ha And of course mom proved to be much stronger than I as always! :) The Museum was incredible we definitely enjoyed ourselves. Especially that we survived our dreadful cab ride and the stride up the hill! :)

We were all pretty tuckered out from our long day so we decided to stay in for the night and play some cards. We noticed a little friend... my mom wrote this message on the mirror while I was in the shower... haha

Our last morning there we hung out around Union Square. Went over to Sax Fifth Avenue and peered in the windows of Tiffany's....Ahhhh:)

We had such a fabulous Vacation!! Thank you Mom & Gram for a great weekend with the two of you!! I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did!!

{Class Pictures}

Nash has just loved his first year of Preschool! He has grown up so much since he started and wizzing through the material. Miss Marcy is a wonderful teacher ready and willing to love and support her kids in and out side of the class room.

Livia enjoys Preschool so much and has always loved to learn. She has had a hard year having so much to adjust to, so she's had to work extra hard. But she is coming along great and will be ready for Kindergarten starting next fall! I can't believe she is 5! WOW how time flies!

Lacy you did a fabulous job with the Class Pictures!! Love them!
